Miriam Joseph Obituary
JOSEPH, Bunny (Miriam Bee Fulkerson) age 81, preceded in death by husband of 49 years Curt, parents Miriam and Howard Fulkerson and brother, Charles H. Fulkerson, Jr. She is survived by sons Garry (Sarah) and Rick, grandchildren Tony, Kayla, Shauna and Shane, great-grandsons Preston, Liam and Apollo, great-granddaughters Addison and Sadie. Bunny graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1961. She worked at Liberal Market, Schear's/Metro Market, Cashland/Cash America International from 1976 until her retirement in 2015. She was a 60-year member of the order of Eastern Star and member of Hawker United Church of Christ. Bunny loved to read, sew and do various arts and crafts including ceramics. One of her greatest professional accomplishments was obtaining her insurance agent's license at age 59. After the passing of her husband, she became a volunteer for The Hospice of Dayton and the Beavercreek Senior Center and worked part time at 10 Wilmington Place. Funeral service 11:00AM Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel, family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial to follow Mount Zion Shoup Cemetery.

I worked with Bunny at 10 Wilmington for almost 2 years. In fact, she trained all of us on the reception desk. Many of the residents looked forward to visiting with her at the front desk. She was loved by so many of us and I loved her wicked humor. Every time I visited her, no matter what she was going through, her humor was still in tact . She will be missed by many. Thank you to her son Garry for taking such good care of her.

We were so sorry to hear about Bunny´s passing. Curt and Bunny were good friends...beautiful and kind both inside and out. I text and messenger with Bunny after her last stay in the hospital and when she returned home. I invited her to come to Curt´s 65th class reunion this fall. She said she was unable to attend this year. She has now gone Home to be with Curt, her mother, father and brother. RIP our dear friend, Bunny! We love you! Ronnie and Melissa (Chick) Frank Barr

Bunny and I worked together both at Liberal and Metro Markets. We celebrated birthdays together mine was 4/25 and hers was 4/27. We shared good times and bad times together. I will miss her greatly.
