Miss your smile, your laugh, joie de vivre, helpfulness, dedication to help.

Still love you and miss you after five years
Love - Gerard

. Thank you for keeping the guest book open. I just read in "The Torch" that Missie had passed away in March this year. I am so sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Missie's at Dominican HS and I grew up in Arabi, La. I will always remember her smile, her laugh, and her love for life. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Gerard, Nicolle and Danielle - I just learned (today 8/7/2013)) about your Missie's passing. Words can never express how much she meant to me. She was an extremely awesome (first-class) lady - truthful, kind and loving to all of you. Her life revolved her love for your family. Gerard, Missie adored you and every time we spoke, she expressed her love for you. I wish I had known earlier. I will keep Missie (and all of you) in my prayers along with Pe-Paw. Please . . . please . . . let me...

I've know Missie since first grade, and have fond memories of our lives growing up together in Chalmette. She was a beautiful soul then and I can see that never changed through the years from the wonderful notes here. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jerry, Ms. Marilyn and all of your family.

Dear Nickie and family....I am so sorry to read about the passing of your mom in the Catholic Sun. It was a nice story. I remember the days when we met at BCHS. It was my pleasure to be your teacher and to get to know your mom during that time. She was one of the most delightful people I have ever met. I know she will be missed by many as she touched the hearts of countless numbers of people during her short time on this earth. As she looks down on us from Heaven, may you find comfort in...

I was so very saddened to read of Missie's passing. I had the privilege of getting to know and work with her at St. Vincent de Paul School. She was so very dedicated to the school as well as all of the students, parents and staff. As we both moved on it was always a joy to see her at various events. Her warm smile and wonderful laugh will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace and those of us left behind find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and smiling down on us. My...

I worked with Missie on the Awareness Committee at Xavier a few years ago. She was a joy to work with -- so dedicated to the mission of educating our young women in all of life's values. She will be missed by many. Hugging you all in my heart.

I had the opportunity to know Missie for only four months. In my brief time, she was a wonderful woman and always had a smile and hugs for me. She was an inspiration and I hope to have a career and servant's life such as she had.
