Misty was a lovely young woman with a bright future. How sad and tragic that we have lost her. Let us be grateful that she graced us with her sweetness for as long as we knew her. Special condolences to John and heartfelt sympathy to her family. Elli Kent

Childhood memories of playing with Misty during summers in Fayetteville, NC always put a smile on my face. These memories will always be with me. My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of our family and all that knew Misty.

Misty was a beloved neice, fun, charming and beautiful. How wonderful to see her at her brother's wedding a month before she passed away when she glowed with the joy of life.

What a great loss for the families and children of our community. What a great loss for those who work in the children services field in our community. Misty brought comfort and cheer to a circumstance that involved challenge, and we were always improved by her involvement. I will miss that big smile!

John,
Words cannot express how sorry I am. I wish there were something I could say, but there are no words for such a tragedy. Please find some confort in your friends that love you, and have you in their hearts.
Sincerely, Erin
