Not sure what to say?

I worked with Mitch for many years. He was always very funny and so helpful. He even came to my house and helped me with my computer when I first had children. I will miss him greatly.

I continue to be so sad about Mitch's death. It seems that much of the music I still listen to is what Mitch played for me at his apartment, especially Steely Dan! Mitch kept one of my ceramic pieces (I was a potter back in those days). I'd love to have it because I gave it to Mitch and he held on to it. I can be contacted at the email address I included with this message and would love to hear from a family member. Thanks. Betty Craven

I am so saddened to hear of Mitch's death. He and I went out together for over a year. He took me to see Joni Mitchell for my 21st birthday. He was a kind person with a great sense of humor. About 10 years ago we reconnected through Facebook and I'll always be glad we did. Even back in 1976 he was a great cook and he always grilled chicken on a little charcoal grill on his porch. There will always be a place for him in my heart and I'm so sorry he's gone. I send condolences to his...

Mitch and I went to East Mecklenburg High School together and he later helped out with several bands that I played in as a sound man & roadie. We took a month-long train trip around the country in the early 80s which was a blast. Mitch had a great sense of humor and imagination. We had a lot of fun hanging out and have great memories. I was sorry to hear the news and send my very best wishes and condolences to Mitch's family. Andy

Did not know Mitch, but he is mentioned as a super Fan of the Dan (Steely Dan). RIP Brother Dan Fan.

I wanted to edit my first post. Mitch and I both took that train ride to NYC to visit friends there. I added another photo taken at Wrightsville beach in 2007
