Mitchell Walter Silver

Mitch was my very first date. As I recall, I believe I was 16 years old and he was such a gentleman. We had a great evening together. My parents thought the world with him as soon as they met him that night. I'm so sorry to hear that he's gone.

I am so sorry to hear of Mitch passing. We met in the late 60's as teenagers gawking over the guitars and amps at a music store in downtown Columbia. We subsequently became friends and were in a band together for a short time. We stayed in touch over many years. I would run into him at the RCPL Cooper Branch or the Kroger on Forest Dr. when we lived in Columbia. Mitch was a fine person and I have fond memories of both of his parents.
