Mrs Modist had been an angel in disguise to our family during the past couple of years.I came to know Modist through my Uncle Jerry. My husband had been suffering with lung cancer for the
past year.Modist prayed for us daily and called to check on him often. My husband died last month.The day my my husband was dying she called me at the hospital and counseled me telling me that I had to let him go.She said they would probably be in Heaven together soon. Modist was a beautiful lady. Her heart was filled with love and kindness. I was blessed to have known her. I will miss her very much. I wish to extend my sympathy to her family. She was someone special.

Wade and I extend our sympathy to Modist's family, and to say she was one of the best friends we have ever had. We will miss her so much, but we know she is in a better place and not sick any more.
Modist was a wonderful person who loved everyone and always told you and showed you in her own way, whether it be a gift or something she could do for you, that she loved you.
