Dear Sharon and Family,

Dr. Shafii's ongoing legacy will be all those who he helped blossom into a happy and productive adulthood. I certainly would not be the person I am today were it not for him. For that, I will be eternally grateful to him, and to you for sharing him with us. He was a truly special person, a truly good person, and he will be dearly missed by all.
