Mollie Hodges Obituary

Mollie Aileen McKeogh Hodges, a loving sister and aunt, died Monday, December 11, 2023, at Sunrise of Metairie. Mollie was born July 9, 1941, in Denison, Texas and was a former resident of Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Mississippi State College for Women and Tulane University. Her husband, William Davenport Hodges died in 1995. Mollie taught in schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans until her retirement in 2007. Mollie is survived by her brother, Michael C. McKeogh of Houston, Texas. She has three nephews and nieces whom she deeply loved: Michael Brady McKeogh and his wife Mary of Mandeville, Louisiana; Campbell S. McKeogh of Denver, Colorado; and a niece Scottie Durrett, wife of Park Durrett of Woodside, California. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Sunrise of Metairie for their care and friendship. Interment will be in St. Patrick Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Those desiring, please make contributions to a charity of choice.
