MONT VERNON – Molly Elizabeth Mintken of Mont Vernon, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.

Molly was born in Juneau, Alaska on Feb. 25, 1983, the daughter of John and Gail Mintken. In 1985, Molly moved with her family to Concord. She attended Concord schools until 1999 when she moved to Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center to attend school. Upon completion of her schooling, Molly remained in residence at the Crotched Mountain Children's and Specialty Hospital.

In 2014, Molly moved to her home in Mont Vernon which she shared with friends and dedicated caregivers. Molly loved listening to music, being read to and going for car rides, but mostly being among family and friends. She especially loved having her outfits and accessories noticed. Molly touched many people's lives and so many kind and caring professionals, caregivers and friends touched her and her family's.

Molly was predeceased by both maternal and fraternal grandparents as well as her aunts Judy Dow and Barbara Smith. Besides her parents, Molly leaves behind her brother and best friend, Carl Mintken. Carl and his wife, Nicole, niece, Carmella, and nephew, John reside in Northfield, Vt. Her half brothers, Scott and John, reside with their families in Colorado. Molly also leaves behind her "Arntie" Joyce and Uncle John Pyne of Kennebunk, Maine and Milford Mass., Auntie Sally and Uncle Tom Gillon of Hendersonville, N.C., Auntie Marilyn and Uncle Bob Barrows so Summmerville, S.C., Aunt Betty and Uncle Carl Kreifels of Lakewood, Colo., and Aunts Beverly Fischer of Aurora, Colo. and Belinda Mintken of Littleton, Colo. Molly was also blessed to have many wonderful, caring and funny cousins in her life.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m., at the Pine Grove Cemetery in East Concord.

In lieu of flowers, John and Gail would appreciate Molly be remembered at the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, 1 Verney Drive, Greenfield, NH 03047.
