Mordy will always live in my heart; he was a model and dear friend from my childhood. I was privileged to know Mordie casually through the New York State Bar Association and Central Synagogue. Of course, Mordie remains a legend in the world of trusts-and-estates law, so as a tax attorney, I knew him. More and his first wife Ruth were good friends of my parents. I remember him well from the 50s: his upright posture, his keen sense of humor, his love of wine and fine dining, his wide-ranging interests. May his memory be a blessing.
