Morgan Fry Obituary
Morgan Leionaonalani (Parriott) Fry, 22, of Des Moines, IA, passed away on February 8, 2025, at Unity Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA.Morgan was born September 12, 2002, in Chandler, AZ, the daughter of Daniel and Ima Cabradilla Parriott. She married Gage Stafford Fry on June 7, 2024, at Grace Church in Des Moines, IA.
Morgan grew up in Chatham, IL and graduated from Glenwood High School. She pursued her passion for ministry at Moody Bible Institute, where she earned a degree in Women's Ministry. Jesus was the foundation of her life, and she found immense joy in serving others through His love. Morgan cherished her role as a Resident Assistant on the sixth floor at Moody, where she formed deep and lasting friendships, especially with her dear friend, Tori. She was also warmly welcomed into the team at Communication Innovators, where she worked in the service department.
Morgan had lived in Des Moines for only two short years, but in that time, she embraced the most meaningful roles of her life as a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Gage Fry, a loving mother to their beautiful daughter, Marie Elouise Fry, and, above all, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She approached every aspect of her life with grace, strength, and unwavering faith, including the joy of motherhood, as she lovingly delivered Marie with courage and resilience.
Morgan found happiness in the simple joys of life: coffee, thrifting, writing, and spending time in God's creation. She enjoyed hiking and cherished evenings filled with laughter, faithful friends, and movie nights with Gage, especially if ice cream was involved. Morgan was a gentle spirit, thoughtful, giving, selfless, content, and a great listener. Her presence brought warmth and love to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandfathers, Charles Parriott and Abraham Cabradilla.
Morgan is survived by her husband, Gage Fry of Des Moines, IA; their precious daughter, Marie Elouise Fry of Des Moines, IA; parents, Daniel and Ima Parriott of Springfield; siblings, Juree Parriott of Glendale, CA, Drew Parriott of Los Angeles, CA, and Taylor (Nolan Flaherty) Parriott of Chicago, IL; grandmothers, Sherry (Fry) Parriott and Benedicta Cabradilla; aunts; Elizabeth Parriott, Sarah (Frank) Rombouts, Johanna Cabradilla, and Laureen Cabradilla; uncles, Kenneth (Tim Yap) Cabradilla; parents-in-law, Ryan and Leah Fry; sister-in-law, Mack (Josh) Carmenatte and their baby, Moses; sisters-in-law, Nay and Shay; and brothers-in-law, Vea and Tay.
