Not sure what to say?

Morty and Norma Lee were both such generous and giving people. I will never forget their friendship with my parents and their kindness towards them. Wonderful people who will be missed

I met Morty and Norma Lee Funger shortly after I arrived at GW as vice president in 1983. They were prepared to make a significant investment in the university. Since Morty was involved in real estate, he had a particular interest in buildings. We served the NASM board together; knowing and working with Morton was always a pleasure and privilege. We send our love and prayers to the Funger family.

Sending love and light to a wonderful Washington family. Your parents and Scott were of the finest.

When I visited DC, there was always time to have breakfast with Morty.. these breakfasts were such great fun..
Morty was a truly remarkable man.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Morty thru my friends, Eric & Frann Francis.

It was a great joy to be included in so many Funger events. Mort and Norma Lee were two of the most generous people I´ve ever known. The world was made so much a better place because of the character and generosity of Mort Norma Lee (and Scott) but they left a legacy of great family members and friends to carry on their good works. Rest in...

Dear Funger family, my parents, Howard and Marilyn Niederman, loved your mom and dad and always appreciated their hospitality when they stayed with them. My mom and Norma Lee knew each other since they were little girls growing up in DC. They maintained a lifelong friendship till the end. They were wonderful people and will be sorely missed.

Dear Funger Family: Our sincere condolences for the loss of the patriarch of the Funger family.
