Aline and the entire family of Morton Yolkut

Dear Aline, Myron, and Family,
I am so very sad to hear about Mort's passing. He was such a fine and wonderful man. He was a wise man, my Rabbi, whose goodness touched so many of us. He was dedicated to Torah, Judaism, and the Jewish people. I learned so much from him. His loss is a loss for all of us. He was a Mentsch in the truest sense of the word. We were blessed to have known such a fine and good man. May you and your family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and...

I have memorialized my cousin-in-law, Rabii Morton Yolkut, with a Wikipedia page. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton_Yolkut

We are so sorry for your loss. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalyim

I got to know Rabbi Yolkut better when I attended morning minyan in 2006-2007 saying Kaddish for my father.
He was articulate, dignified and a scholar.

After the service, we would discuss his "Detroit Tigers", my Pittsburgh Pirates and Philly politics.
He was always a step or two ahead of most, understanding the political landscape and his sense of humor was superb.

My deepest condolences to his family.

I first met Morton when I started Yeshiva High School and he was studying for Smicha . He was an excellent role model for all. Over the years I have valued the lessons he taught me by both his words and actions. It was a privilege to know him

Baruch Dayan HaEmet. I remember Rabbi Yolkut from his years in Detroit when I was in my teens and twenties. He was a wise and calming force during turbulent years. Yehei zichro baruch.

I'm sorry, Aline. I heard from Bob. Baruch dayan ha'emet; zichrono liv'rachah.

My dear Aline and family:
I feel I know everyone personally from the pictures on Aline's office wall and I share your sadness. I am very sorry for your loss. Let me know if there's anything I can do.
