Dear Aline, Myron, and Family,
I am so very sad to hear about Mort's passing. He was such a fine and wonderful man. He was a wise man, my Rabbi, whose goodness touched so many of us. He was dedicated to Torah, Judaism, and the Jewish people. I learned so much from him. His loss is a loss for all of us. He was a Mentsch in the truest sense of the word. We were blessed to have known such a fine and good man. May you and your family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Be well. Charley Silow and Family

I got to know Rabbi Yolkut better when I attended morning minyan in 2006-2007 saying Kaddish for my father.
He was articulate, dignified and a scholar.
After the service, we would discuss his "Detroit Tigers", my Pittsburgh Pirates and Philly politics.
He was always a step or two ahead of most, understanding the political landscape and his sense of humor was superb.
My deepest condolences to his family.

I first met Morton when I started Yeshiva High School and he was studying for Smicha . He was an excellent role model for all. Over the years I have valued the lessons he taught me by both his words and actions. It was a privilege to know him

Baruch Dayan HaEmet. I remember Rabbi Yolkut from his years in Detroit when I was in my teens and twenties. He was a wise and calming force during turbulent years. Yehei zichro baruch.
