Not sure what to say?

Aunt Muriel always made me feel so welcome when I came to visit. She always welcomed us with a warm smile. She will always hold a special place in my heart and will be dearly missed.

Most of our contact with Ms. Hilger in the last couple of years was sending her books through Jeannie, but our favorite memory was when she came to our library Christmas party. She enjoyed everything, but seeing the children talking with Santa just made her smile even brighter. She had a great time letting them hear her ask Santa how the reindeer were, which totally convinced them it was the real Santa.
Miss Hilger you were a gift to us all!

Aunt Muriel was always the rock we could lean on. She was our second mom. I will miss her greatly.

Our deepest sympathy to the Hilger family. Miss Muriel was a wonderful friend to my grandmother, Elma Smith. She always looked forward to seeing her at family functions. She showed us what it was to be a true friend & Christian through her loving kindness to everyone. So glad I will be able to see her again one day in heaven. May God comfort you at this time.

Muriel P. Hilger not only loved her God, but she lived the best Christian life of anyone I've ever known. She was never judgmental of people, never spoke badly of anyone, was humerous and fun-loving, and gave from her heart. She will be missed by all whose lifes she touched. Evelyn Moulder.

To Brandt Hilger & family, my deepest sympathy & prayers are with you. God bless you and keep you now and always. Much love, Sharon Wobbe

My prayers are with Mrs. Hilger's family. May God hold you tight in his loving arms.

Heaven regained one of it's own with the passing of Ms. Muriel. She will always be remembered for her kindness and the compassion she showed to the Boyce Area Senior Citizens Program. May you find comfort in knowing that you now have another angel watching over you. May God grant you peace and comfort during this time. Rossalin Turner-Williams, Boyce, LA.

Aunt Muriel was a wonderful role model for me. She taught me so much about how to live a Christ-like life of love, generosity, forgiveness and great JOY. She had the sweetest way of making everyone feel welcomed and special.
