Muriel Scott Obituary
After graduating from Boston University she enjoyed a 32 year teaching career at Windham High School in Willimantic, Ct.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert, wife Alice and Charlie. She is survived by her sister-in-law, June, her lifelong partner Jan and 7 very devoted nieces and nephews and their families.
Scotty was a favorite Aunt who was known for her practical jokes, sense of humor and her lifelong love of sports, especially golf and skiing, which she enthusiastically passed along to them. She loved nature and the outdoors and was never without a dog in her life. She was a very beautiful, kind, gentle person and to know her was to love her.
In keeping with her wishes there are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the National Cremation and Burial Society.

So sorry for your loss, Jan. You and Scotty were the best neighbors, so welcoming and accepting of us and our motley crew of just post college kids living on quiet Woodmont Drive nearly 40 years ago.

I remember Ms. Scott very fondly from Windham High School. I was never the best athlete, but she was always kind and encouraging. I am so pleased to hear she had a good, long life. My deepest condolences to Ms. Scott's family and friends, and especially to you, Ms. Arnold; you also hold a special place in my high school memories.)
