Just returning from much traveling and discovered the sad news. I had the great pleasure of meeting Murray and his wife Dorothy when they purchased art works from meincluding a pen and ink drawing of Nathan's. We also spent a lovely evening together at my home. I will always treasure the memories.

I remember hearing only good things about your family thru my Grandmother, Parents,, Aunts and uncles. We are related somehow thru Sam Handwerker, and the Stein Family. My grandmother came over from Russia with a Handwerker in 1907. I am so glad they all came to this country and contributed so wonderfully in every way. May you find peace and contentment knowing your family was respected and loved by so many

May he find eternal happiness in the house and arms of God. The Handwerkers are American icons. They were always good to the NYPD when the Widows and Orphans day was run at Steeplechase. Good, solid, hard working Americans!!!

I would like to thank you for the best hot dogs that I ever ate. I have become spoiled and will only eat Nathan's. I had my first Nathan while on vacation in Nevada but soon discovered that I could get them at the supermarket where I lived. My favorite is still hot and slightly toasted off the grill. Whenever my family has a bar-b-que, I bring a large package of Nathan's. Your father's legacy lives on in every bite. Thank you
