Not sure what to say?

Ben,

I am so sorry about your father's passing. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Rippe Family, Mike and I were very saddened to learn of Mr. Rippe's passing. My grandmother, Esther Hoke, was a long time employee of Rippe's. I went to high school with Allen, and my husband, Mike, was a classmate of Ben's. We send our deepest condolences. Mr. Rippe was a gentleman and a great man.

To the Rippe Family, my mother and I send our prayers to you. Your establishement brought so much pleasure to us over the years. The quality of your apparels was indeed wonderful. The professionalism shown by your son and the store's employees continued to be praiseworthy. May your hearts be strengthened during the days and years to come with the recollection of the many good times you all shared with your loved one. Mattie Howard Evans and Mary Brandon, Hampton, VA

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Ben:

In addition to being a fellow Main Street merchant of unquestionable integrity, Buddy was of that rare breed of sons of our Commonwealth, who had no need to ever appear to be anything other than himself. Your loss is also Danville's loss and Beth Shalom' loss. To honor his memory, Bonnie and I are sending a...

Ben, Mrs. Rippe, and family,

Even though you are saddened now with your loss, how proud you must be to have had a father and a husband who was so caring and gentlemanly. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this special time. Many blessings,

Dear Mrs. Rippe, Ben, Allen, Carol and family: My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. I have fond memories of shopping and attending fashion shows at your beautiful clothing store and how special Mr.Rippe made each occasion. He was a leader in our community through his action in his business, church and volunteerism. He will be greatly missed.
