Marcus, we just learned of Myla's passing this evening. I have never seen Carole more at a loss for words. We are sorry that we lost touch with you and Myla, Von and Skyla. Please let us know if we can help with anything.

I only met Myla briefly in the summer of 2004 when George and I traveled to Texas. I found her to be a delightful woman who loved her husband and children dearly.

I will miss my daughter-in-law. She was a beautiful soul who was a loving, wonderful wife to Marcus and a fantastic mother to Von and Skyla.

I'm sorry to say that Myla and I lost touch over the years, only talking on the phone a few times as Von visited with my son, Thomas, during visitations with his dad. She was a good friend and roommate during college and I know she'll be greatly missed by her family. Von and Skyla are especially in my prayers as they mourn the loss of their mom.
