Myla Kay Marks Jonte

MYLA KAY MARKS JONTE died on December 11, 2005 at the age of 37. Born in Houston, Texas on May 17, 1968. She is survived by her partner and husband of 8 years. Marcus Jonte, mother Teddi Bayer Marks, father Milo Marks, mother-in-law Barbara Jonte, son Von Marks Harrington, daughter Skyla Noel Jonte, loving sister Alanda Suzanne Fewins, her best and dearest friend Danica Bulla Tucker and her husband Michael , a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Myla will be remembered as an avid reader, a loving wife, mother, daughter, niece and friend. She was proud of her Texas Heritage and being the great granddaughter of Emil H. Marks of the LH 7 ranch, located at Barker, near Katy which boasted the famed original Texas Longhorn herd and today is a Texas land mark. Her beautiful presence in the family will be missed by all. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., December 17, 2005 at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 9600 South Gessner. A private interment will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Garden of Memories for the attendance of the family.
