As a NSU graduate of 1955 and '61, I still have fond and vivid memories of being on the BSU council and in the NSU/BSU. Myra always saw that every activity was Christ centered and so enjoyable. There we met lifelong friends and Myra was always there for us while we were away from home. A great Christian lady and a great lifelong friend.

Not only did Myra touch the lives of BSU students at Northwestern, she touched lives of other students around the state. I remember her fondly from my days at Centenary and serving on state council. She will be missed!

I can honestly say that Myra had as much influence on the course of my life as anyone who has ever touched me. She helped me discover gifts in my life that I had not found. She offered encouragement and praise that helped me develop and use those gifts. As I complete my 47th year as a pastor, I thank God from the bottom of my heart for Myra's life and witness!
