I met Myrtle Katzen when I joined Group 93, an art colloquium made up of American University MFA graduates that met at AU for critique sessions. Myrtle was an active and serious participant for many years. Her paintings small and large are dynamic and colorful. Her contribution to the DC art world was significant.
