Not sure what to say?

I was sad to hear of David's passing. I remember he had a great smile and laugh, was very kind to me

David told me how Eddie Yost (the Washington Senators third baseman) coached David on how to throw out the runner at first. I shared that advice with my grandson, Harry, who almost knocked out the first baseman with a speeding bullet throw. But my grandson really impressed his coach. David will be missed by all who knew him. Michael

My family moved to D.C. from Wisconsin for about 3 years. My father worked for the government, I attended Shepherd Park Elementary School from 4th grade thru 6th grade. David was in my class. He was a nice boy and a friend. And I am sure he grew up to be a good man. With sympathy to his family.

We are so sorry for your loss. David made many contributions to the Lisner Home while on the Board- for which we will be forever grateful. Connie- Your Lisner Family sends you our thoughts and prayers. Please know we are always here for you.

Goodbye to a man of exceptional ability and genuine kindness that was my mentor and friend. Thoughts of comfort and prayers to Family.

I have many sweet memories of you, David, Dee, and Hal in your younger days. May your own store of memories and loving family hold you at this time of loss.

I am so glad I got to know you thanks to your regular walks by the tennis court and my connection with the Washington Post. And I feel honored that your bench is right behind my house so I can think of you and your Buick fondly. My condolences to the family.

A dear cousin all my life; he will be remembered fondly and greatly missed.

David treated me like family from the first minute I walked in the door at Williams & Connolly. He taught me valuable lessons. He made it fun. I will miss him terribly.
