Read MoreWe knew Nancy through my uncle Forrest and aunt Helen MacDonald and enjoyed every meeting with her. In 1996 my husband Woody and I were vacationing in Sonoma. Nancy invited us to dinner at her lovely house in the woods. We had a very relaxing evening with her. She was particularly proud of her ceramic frog in the front yard that announced guests coming up the entry walk. We will miss seeing her again.

Nancy was a great friend to my Dad Pittsburgh-Jim McDonald. She was instrumental in making his surprise 80th birthday party a great success. We will always remember Nancy as a wonderfully generaous and kind person. She will most certainly be missed by all of those who loved her. I knew Nancy throught the Sonoma Valley Newcomers and the Sonoma Valley Republican Women Federated groups. She was always very active, friendly, generous and never forgot a name or a face. I feel lucky to have known her. She will be missed by all who were fortunate to have met her.

Nancy was a very generous person, she offered her services to many causes. I met her at a ACS fund raiser, in Petaluma, where she offered to cook a meal for 8 in someone's house.
We remained friends & attended many other fund raisers.
