Nancy Denning

I have such fond memories of Mrs. Denning as my third grade teacher. Love and peace to Jim and family.

My condolences to the family. Unfortunately, I haven´t seen Nancy in several years but I hold many fun memories of our days as members of Sonterra Country Club. My husband, Jerry, was a frequent partner of Jim´s on the tennis court and we had many fun tennis trips together! Nancy was an intelligent person but noted for her quick wit! She will be missed by all her knew her.

Some teachers have an outsized impact on the lives of their students and Nancy Denning was of them. I had her for fourth grade at Hidden Forest Elementary School in 1986. I still remember when class discussions would get too far off topic, and she would say "time to stop jaywalking and get back on topic". She is one of the finest and most memorable educators of my life. She will be missed by me and her legion of loyal students.

My sincere condolences to Lee, Jane, and Jim. Your mom will be missed. I always loved coming to stay with y'all. Aunt Nancy always made all the kids feel welcome. Sincerely, Linda Glass
