Not sure what to say?

My memories go back to Nancy's sophomore year in the Chi Omega house at the University of Nebraska--she will always be one of my fondest memories, and all who had the privilege of having Nancy in their life know what a wonderful and positive influence she had on everyone. I'm so thankful we had a chance to visit when she and Roger were in Phoenix last winter.

My thoughts and prayers are with Roger and the entire family.

As a friend of Nancy's sister, Donna, I came to know what a wonderful person she was. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Nancy was megawatt in every way, and we feel the loss of her inspiring energy. She always made us feel welcomed, cared for, listened too, and loved. Our heart hurts, and we hope our most gentle thoughts are reaching you Roger, Bill and the family. David, Jose', Jack and Stephen

Nancy was my best friend in grade school in Creighton. I have wonderful memories of tubing in the Bazile Creek with Nancy and her brother Jeff while her Mom, Donna sat in the shade and read books. I also laugh at the memories of sleeping over at her house, when we would sneak off the side porch and go across the street to aggravate Mabel Jasmer's parrot. We were both twirlers in the marching band, and were always ready for the next adventure. I was devastated when the family moved to Albion. ...

Nancy was my first love. We were sweethearts my senior year at Albion High School (1957). We went our separate ways after that. My last contact with her was when I telephoned her in New York to congratulate her on her first day on "The Today Show." My heart goes out to her husband and children.

Nancy, it is so difficult to accept you are no longer a phone call or just a letter away. All we have are memories, but there are many over the span of 49 years, and they will be treasured and revisited. To the family your grief and loss are shared by all who had the chance to know and love her. A Chi Omega sister and friend.

Roger and family, It is hard to imagine the death of one of our most notable classmates (Albion High School, class 59). I so was looking forward to next year and our 50th reunion. May her memories live on in your lives.

While we, too didn't know Nancy, through her son Bill we can imagine what kind of warm, caring person she was. Know that our family will be thinking of yours during this difficult time.

Dear Roger and family,
We were sadden deeply upon hearing the news of Nancy's death. We are thankful that we were able to see her at the reunion this month. Our prayers are with you.
