Nancy J. Koenig

For several years I taught second grade in the classroom next to Nancy's music room. Looking back, I realize how talented and special Nancy was as a person and as a teacher. She always hosted our staff May Day Celebration with a Maypole and all. Even though she was an avid Kansas Jayhawks fan, she still taught the kids Missouri Tigers chants; just for revenge. Ha! An awesome lady will be missed. Definitely my most remembered and most impactful teacher in my elementary years. She shined a lot of light and planted encouragement and inspiration in many lives. My condolences to her family, friends and fellow former students.

As a former student of Mrs. Koenig (Meadows Elementary), I am so sad to learn of her passing. She was truly an inspirational teacher. I will never forget music classes with her! My condolences to her family. She was much loved.

I did not know her but she sounds like an awesome Lady. So sorry for your loss.
