Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy, I will always remember the day I came into your office with a personal dilemma that was making me depressed and a little crazy. You put me into one of your armchairs, let me cry, and listened intently to my story. By the time I left, my soul was beginning to heal and I felt there was room for hope in my life. I will never forget that gift. You will always be a special person to so many of us and we will never forget you. Love you forever Connie F., Coworker and Friend

I continue to remember this GENTLE SOUL who left way too soon! I can see how the Almighty might be eager to sped time with her! Dalma Jan 2022

I wish to emphasize that Dr Nancy Newton was NOT an ordinary person. She was very competent in her Profession without any trace of vanity. Way too modest perhaps! I certainly remember her!

I supervised Nancy for family and group when she was an intern at ISPI. She was the inspiration for my going back to get my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and I had her for aging. She was a wise and caring person, a great therapist, and a terrific teacher. I just recently learned of her death almost 6 years ago. My condolences to her husband and all who loved her and had the luck and pleasure to walk thru life with her.

Nancy Newton, Ph.D was a well known psychologist, affiliated first with Nortwestern University Older Adult Program. I was doing my Fellowship There. She was very bright, and had a benign overall outlook . Consistently a decent person.

Miss you every day, Nancy.

Dearest Nancy. I can't believe you've been gone so long already. I miss you and your wisdom every day. Knowing you was a highlight of my life and I will hold our friendship as a treasure forever. Rest in peace.

Nancy,

I remember our friendship from the CR group in New York and your wedding and our time together in Port Clinton Ohio. I'm so sorry we lost touch. I will remember you and Ed always .

Sincerely,
Linda Guthrie

Goodness Gracious. Nancy was a good friend and reached out with a lovely card during the holidays for many years after the joint experiences we had in internship training in Chicago. I'll never forget the quiet peaceful night we spent in your photography studio in Chicago on one of my trips there. It had been a while but I thought I'd look her up, my goodness.

So sorry for your loss Ed. Craig Schweon
