Born: August 13, 1933 in Crystal Lake
Died: October 7, 2022 in Ogelsby, IL
Nancy L. Rose, 89, of Cary, IL passed away on October 7, 2022. Nancy was born in Crystal Lake, IL on August 13, 1933 to Edward and Ella Jeschke. In 1951 Nancy graduated from Crystal Lake High School. While working at J.T. General Store, Nancy met John C. Rose, who became the love of her life and they were married in August of 1965. Nancy was an avid reader and loved travelling with John, visiting destinations all over the world.
Nancy is survived by her children, Robin Rose and John (Suzy) Rose; grandchildren, Dan, Amy, Megan, Melissa, Abby, and Jake; great grandchildren, Syerra, Piper, Lilly, Adam, Amelia, and Willow; great-great grandchild, Harper; sister, Carla (Ron) Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Rose; siblings, Norman Jeschke, Donna Hentz, and Helen Grant; parents, Edward and Ella Jeschke.
A Visitation will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 from 11:30AM until the time of service at 1:30PM at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home (500 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). Interment will take place following the Service at McHenry County Memorial Park. In Lieu of Flowers the family asks that donations be made in Nancy's name to the American Cancer Society.
