Nargaret Morris Obituary

Nargaret Mahaffey Morris
Mrs. Morris, age 89, of Brian Center and formerly of the Oakdale Community, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital, Main. Born September 14, 1915 in Lancaster, SC, she was the daughter of the late Darling Belk and Lois Phillips Mahaffey. She attended Winthrop College. Mrs. Morris was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Joy Sunday School Class.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Margaret Mahaffey Morris will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2005 from the graveside at Forest Lawn West Cemetery with The Reverend Wes Judy, officiating.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Helen Mahaffey of Nashville, TN; three nieces, Wanda Mahaffey of Apalachicola, FL, Grace Rouse of Martha's Vineyard, MA and Mary Brennan of Nashville, TN; one great nephew, Jackson Mahaffey Rouse; one great niece, Louisa Rouse; and her special friends and adopted children, Roy and Margaret Parker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Ed Morris.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Family Life Center, 1915 Oakdale Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
