Nathan Hudson Clapp

I was deeply saddened to hear of Nathan's passing. He tutored in the Math Lab at Red Rocks Community College and, as his supervisor, I had frequent contact with him. He was certainly an outstanding math student and a dedicated tutor--students loved working with him. Nathan had begun his first year at RRCC, and I had just moved to Conifer High for my 2016-17 year when we met. We became quick friends after being introduced in the high school writing club. Nathan was sincere and warmhearted, charming, and had an amazing knack for science and expressive words. I first met Nathan when I moved to Colorado and started going to school at RRCC in 2019. We met at the Idea Lab and there was not a day that he did not have a smile on his face. He was kind, caring, incredibly intelligent and the most respectful young man I had met. He would frequently offer to make us all tea in the Lab that was delicious!
