I was deeply saddened to hear of Nathan's passing. He tutored in the Math Lab at Red Rocks Community College and, as his supervisor, I had frequent contact with him. He was certainly an outstanding math student and a dedicated tutor--students loved working with him. More than that, he was an exceptional young man--kind, compassionate, sincere, and wise beyond his years.
He made a positive impact on the lives of many RRCC students; he certainly touched my life.
I offer my condolences to the friends and family of Nathan. I can also speak on behalf of many other RRCC staff and faculty who were lucky enough to know Nathan in offering their condolences. Randy

Nathan had begun his first year at RRCC, and I had just moved to Conifer High for my 2016-17 year when we met. We became quick friends after being introduced in the high school writing club.
Nathan was sincere and warmhearted, charming, and had an amazing knack for science and expressive words. I have and will always remember our fun times together going out with friends and to our junior prom as dates. (He had some fancy dance moves, too!)
I used to be extremely recluse before transferring to CHS, but Nathan was one of the people who gave me the ability to see my growth as a person because of his sweet and patient personality. I am absolutely grateful for all my experiences with him. I hope you all find consolation and healing.

I first met Nathan when I moved to Colorado and started going to school at RRCC in 2019. We met at the Idea Lab and there was not a day that he did not have a smile on his face. He was kind, caring, incredibly intelligent and the most respectful young man I had met. He would frequently offer to make us all tea in the Lab that was delicious! Nathan would stop anything he was doing to help others no matter how big or small the problem. Nathan is one of the nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with and know.
I am incredibly sorry for your loss Clapp family.
