Gallenson's,
N8 was an amazing guy, I first met him when I was about 14 and started the Gallenson odessy. His business sense was the old fashioned type, and people always came back for more. I was always amazed at how how smart he was and that he never put limits on his kids, encouraging them them to learn, explore the world and what it had to offer.
Some of the things I remember where my first pheasant hunting trip, Steve driving to Duchesne on a learners permit, a lot of time at...

Rest in peace, how much this says:
Be free of pain, no more weeping and no more pain. My deepest sympathies to all the Gallenson family.
I will always remember the many memories and laughter Nate shared with his brother and me, and the support and love showed at the time of the passing of Marv. I loved all my visits with him in the rest home and enjoyed giving those good back rubs. Gentleness will always be remembered.

I am intimidated by the folks, like relatives, who knew Nate so well, but I was in the Westerners when Nate joined in 1971, and I must have gone on at least 35 field trips with him. (And we weren't always drunk). So that I learned to understand his character--a fine, honorable gentleman of great knowledge, both of science and of life. And he could always see the humor in every situation. When I saw him in his last days he could still joke about experiences on the trails of the Westerners in...

My Sweet Uncle Nate,
Thank you for making me laugh and filling my life with fun. Thank you for being such a wonderful big brother to my dad Marv. He loved you so much. Thank you for emphasizing the importance of education throughout my life. It was hard not to see you up and around helping other people like you did and I guess you just got tired and it was your time to go. You were so strong, even in the end. I will miss you more than you know and think about you and my dad fishing or...

I just learned of the loss of Nate, it is with a heavy heart that this gets written. I don’t know where the past few years have gone as life has sped by. But I will always remember his smile, smirk, laugh, perspective and perception of life and his respectful firm handshake. He could give you confidence when you needed it most. In my near two decades of working at the shop, having Nate as a mentor and a friend was truly a privilege and has permanently made an impact on my life and who I...

Dear Gallenson Family,
My Spirit is with you all in appreciation of your N8. His work ethic and unique self I am fortunate to have in my memories as he always made me feel welcome in his space.
A real Soldier and a Man of Men, he will be in the breeze of the trails we walk.

Marcia - Although I did not know your father well, I do know that he raised a wonderful daughter who has accomplished much and is loved by all.

Here's to an Uncle I always looked up to, not only for keeping his little brother in line, but for the immense knowledge and wisdom in the ways of the world he so freely shared. Thank you for giving me cousins to share in lifes journey, for when our paths cross, it is always a joy. I know your journey has ended in peace, and your life filled with the love of your family and friends has set a great example for all of us. Love you Uncle N8.
