Nate was a bright, energetic kid/man. We worked with Nate for a little while. The neatest thing about him was his connection with people. After he went to school he would come by the shop and he would say hi and then he would go out into the shop and see everyone out there. Biggest thing is he came to see everyone not just me or Rudy he wanted to talk and see everyone.
Love you Nate

"You have the best talent in golf that I have ever had the chance to see, pursue your dream and go after it. Don't hold back. You got this. You are one of the greatest golfers in this area, now believe it." These were just a few of the encouraging words that Nathan told me and would consistently tell me about my golf game. What wonderful memories I have with him to get to remember, just hitting golf balls for hours and hours until we got so tired at Bob Moore's driving range talking about life, God, and our dreams that we had. He was such a beautiful person and I would so always look forward every time to seeing that contagious smile walking up to me at the golf course or on the range. It would instantly make my day 10 times better. He had this fun, encouraging, spirit that you would want to be around. We would have competitions on the range (which was never fair because he would hit it so far past mine) but he would let me win on occasion and I will never forget that. He would never not ask me how my day was, and then talk me through it, and then I would do the same with him. I would give him lessons and he would take it seriously and really try to listen to me. He wanted to learn, and grow, he was so ambitious. Then he would stop and say "this is what we need to work on today with your game." He would have a game plan every time we would go to the range. I needed that, and God knew I needed that. God placed Nathan in my life and in so many others lives to be an encouragement. God knew I needed him to push me to pursue a dream of playing golf one day on the LPGA. He believed in me, more than I would believe in myself. He was going to caddy for me. I want your family to know how special of a person he was and though it was a short time on this earth, he has left a legacy and a huge imprint on so many peoples hearts. I went to high school with Nathan and I remember watching him tear the basketball court up, he was so talented. More than that though, he was always the friend to help you out or make you laugh. When Nathan and I got reconnected a year and a half ago, it was back at Grapevine Golf Course. I am so glad that God put him back into my life to have a friendship with. There is not one day that will go by that I wont thank God for that. He will be deeply and dearly missed, but the memories will stay and how precious they are. I am praying fervently for you through this difficult time. May God give you His strength, peace, hope, and love. You all are such a beautiful family.
Love,
Lindsay Burkhart

Praying for angels to be all around your family, with comfort and peace in their wings. Nathan was a Sigma Chi, right between our two sons, Josh and Travis. We loved having him in our home for a rush party several summers ago. He was always so kind and respectful whenever I saw him at the house after meeting him. May your sweet memories carry you thru'. . .

Our dear Nathan, oh how I loved cheering him on during basketball games at N.M.M.I especially after that 3 point shot. My husband Pilar (Coach C) was his basketball coach, he truly enjoyed coaching him and mentoring him. Our boys looked up to him during his time at N.M.M.I. He will forever live in our hearts and memories. Rest in Peace. Our sincere condolences to Mr. & Mrs. Moore and the rest of the family. God Bless You All.

Our family is deeply saddened with Nathan's passing. He was a wonderful friend to Travis and always welcome in our home, which was often during the Grapevine High School years. Even in his young adult life I would see him on occasion and he always had a smile and a kind word for me. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Moore family on your loss. Bob Debnam and I have said on more than one occasion how much we enjoyed the part of life when we coached the Blue Devils, which Nathan was a vital part off. Nathan was one of the most polite kids I ever coached. Always yes sir or no sir and never failed to say hi when we ran into each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
