There are no words to express the pain in my heart that I feel tonight when I learned of the passing of Morris Rowland. The only comfort is to know that he is no longer suffering. There are so many memories to share of this "one of a kind man". I was employed by Morris in the early 1980's. His company was MORRIS ROWLAND UTILITY" and Morris was in his 6th year of a company he worked hard to start. Morris was strong, determined to always do the best he could do. There are no words to express the pain in my heart I feel tonight, knowing Morris Rowland has passed. The comfort is knowing that he is no longer suffering. Working for Morris in the early 1980's for his company "MORRIS ROWLAND UILITY" was amazing. I never knew if I would be on my way to Charlotte at 3:00 a.m. picking up valves or at Pump & Lighting picking up what the crews needed at any given moment or Adams Concrete picking up manholes on the dump truck. No two days were ever the same....

Sorry to hear of Mr. Rowland's passing. I worked for his utility company many, many years ago during my Sr. year of high school. Mr. Rowland was always a nice man and he worked hard. I was proud to have worked for him. My condolences to all of his family.
