Not sure what to say?

Dear Renee, beloved niece of Neil (Eugene Burnham). I have photographs that your uncle took of a retirement party at the University of Toronto and would love to return them to you. I live in Toronto, ON, Canada, but can send them to you wherever is most convenient. So sorry for your loss of such a lovely person in your life.

Neil was my boss when I worked in HR at UofT. I remember him as a very kind and caring man. He was especially sympathetic after I suffered a miscarriage, asking if I needed more at home to heal. At his retirement party, I remember him working the room chatting with everyone. Thank you Neil for being such a lovely man, I've thought of you often over the years.

When Neil was around there was always lively conversation and laughter. My mom, Ruby, adored him, and so did all of her kids. He was so kind and thoughtful - a very great fellow. May he rest in eternal peace and love. Paula Strong

Although I have not seen Neil in over 39 years, I clearly remember him from our days at the former Kate Buckman's Bridge Club in the old Muir Park Hotel on Yonge St. A few of us were once invited to his and his partner's apartment on Maitland St. to play some rounds of duplicate bridge. Neil was always friendly and courteous to me and everyone else who knew him at Kate Buckman's. I extend my sincere condolences to his family in this difficult time.
