Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Neils death...my prayers to the entire Garvey family...I will always cherish the wonderful memories and laughs from the good old days of the 80's and 90's

I am so sorry to learn of Neil's passing. I was out of town at the time and am shocked to learn of it. Neil was a valued member of the legal community and an exceptional and generous member of the human community. He will be missed.

Neil's "mentorship," (as I now understand it to have been) at Iroquois, and renewed friendship of the past few years - albeit across many miles -- are the precious gifts that we too often don't acknowledge until they are lost. Thank you Elise for bringing us back together! I share with you and the family and friends and the Buffalo community the significant joys of having "experienced Neil" and the pain of losing him far too early.

We are very sorry to hear about Neil's passing. Neil lived next door to us in Buffalo and he was always a good and kind neighbor.
The family of Pauline Santasero

I'm so sad to hear of Neil's passing. He was an extraordinary, beautiful human being and so deeply loved by everyone who knew him. I feel honoured to have known him and am so grateful for the time I got to spend with him. My deepest sympathies to all his family and friends. God rest him. Bryan Delaney, Dublin, Ireland.

A mass is being said for Neil at the Church of the Transfiguration here in New York City... aka "the little church around the corner" known for caring for actors at a time when other churches didn't allow them services or burials. He was an extraordinary man and I'm so grateful to have known him.

My deepest sympathies for Neil's family and friends (which would be most of Western New York). I haven't seen Neil in 30 years, but followed his success on stage via internet (I acted with him in the 70's.) I can still hear his generous laugh--only a great actor could be as great an audience as Neil was. The stage will never be the same.

Mike and family, so sorry for your loss.
Our prayers are with you at this time.

Our sympathies to all the Garvey family. I had not seen Neil since our high school days but my memory will be of fondness forever.
