I had the privilege of caring for Neil for the last 3 1/2 months of his life. I often told Neil that I wish I could sit with him and hear his life's experiences and wisdom. I saw segments of time that he would be very clear in his thoughts and speech, able to communicate exactly what he was thinking or an opinion. Neil was my favorite. I told him every shift I worked.
