Not sure what to say?

Our sincere condolences to Al and the rest of the Lamp family. Both Marian and I enjoyed Nelda and Al both, and Nelda always was asking us about how our kids were doing. We know just how much she will be missed.

What a beautiful lady the world has lost. I remember times ago the fun and laughter we had. Nelda always put a smile on your face. Our prayers are with you, Al, and your precious family.

My heart goes out to all of Nelda's family. I have fond memories of the kids growing up and in youth group. I moved to Ankeny about the same time as the Lamps and Nelda was one of my first friends in a new town. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. Cherish all your special memories and she will always be with you. God bless to all of you. Cindy

Nelda was the bright spot in everyone's day. She was classy, bright and a beauty inside and out. Always interested in others rather than talking about herself. Nelda always had a kind word for me and everyone who knew her. We will miss her and her spirit will live on in all our hearts.

Al, Roger and the Lamp family: Nelda showed us how to live and die with courage, inspiration and dignity. Nothing was left unsaid or undone. Please know that Mary Ann & I will always recall her positive "can do" attitude as your family celebrates the life of a very special person.

Playing cards at Nelda and Al's kitchen table is a very fond memory that I have! I believe the game was Spades. Back then, cornfields were what you saw. Times have changed! With Mother's Day this weekend, I hope you all will be able to share a lot of cherished memories along with the tears. Sending hugs to you all!

So sorry for your loss Nancy & Walt. My heart goes out to you. Nancy - I see where you got your good looks. No doubt that you are Nelda's daughter.

We wish healing and blessings for Nelda's family and peaceful rest in God's arms to Nelda.
