I just found out about this horrible tragedy from the Wednesday Journal. My thoughts and prayers are with Monique, John and Tess. I recall driving Nell to ice skating in Franklin Park with my daughter many summers ago. May Nell rest in peace.

What a beautiful tribute for a powerful soul that left us far too soon. Watching Nell in the water, be it swimming or her passionate water polo playing was a joy, any day of the week. I can see her pull herself out of the pool and storm across the deck with the force and strength that her loving family nurtured in her. I just read about the tragic and senseless loss of Nell. As a retired police officer, I have unfortunately seen this story of broken hearts repeated far too many times. Nell´s life looked filled with success due to hard work. She also had a big heart as evidenced by her volunteerism which compelled a total stranger like me to offer my deep condolences. Sending you all of God´s love.
