My heart aches for your profound and unimaginable grief. I also lost my son, Haven Quinn, suddenly and tragically at age 26 last October 7th and can relate to the awful pain that you are experiencing. I just learned of Nick's passing. What a loss for all who had ever known Nick. What a smile!
The green leafs turn gold and crimson, Next year there will be a crop of shiny new greeen.
But I still miss the old ones
The new only reminds me of the old;
They don't fill the void, just cover it.

My condolences to you and your family. I always liked Nick. His untimely passing saddens me terribly. Until the day of my own, the fondest memories of him and the good times we all had in scouts will live on in my mind.
