I'm shocked to hear of this. Nick was a great person to meet while on a response on San Juan Island. Hanging out after the workday to decompress for a bit was a fond memory of that time. My condolences to the family.

Rest easy BROTHER!! A brave to the grave indeed. My condolences to your family and especially your daughters. I haven't seen you in quite some time but the memories of you will last a lifetime. You always new how to brighten the room (or the woods in some cases, if you know you know.) you always brought humor and great energy to the party. Football was always a blast with you in the field! Once again rest easy BROTHER, watch over those little girls. Although they suffer this terribly unfortunate loss you are their Angel now and they are lucky to have you watching over them.

Sarah, I am saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved Nick. I had the pleasure of having him in my 4s class when he was in daycare. He was always so polite, energetic, intelligent, and had a heart of gold. I hope happy memories comfort you at this time.

Dear Sarah, Alexis, k.k., Words seem so small to truly state the loss of Nick. I know your heart has a huge hole. I was honored to love on your family as their pre-teacher. Nick had a gift of a loving heart to his sisters and mom. He made a impact on so many. I also lost a son and it changes you forever. May you know the love and comfort of many. Ms. TyAnn

I am heartbroken and truly, deeply sorry for what has happened. I can hardly believe that our dear cousin Nick is no longer with us.
In my memory, he´s that little, bubbly boy with curly blonde hair and blue eyes. He was like the sun itself, radiating warmth and light. If someone were to play the role of a baby sun, he would have fit that character perfectly. That´s how he was, and that´s how I will always remember him.
With all my love and deepest sympathy, please know that I am here, sharing this loss and holding his light close in my heart.
