I LOVE YOU DAD!!!!!

My condolences to the entire LaBella Family. I was one of the many lucky students at Holy Trinity who had the good fortune to have attended Mr. LaBella's Mechanical Drawing and Mechanical Engineering classes. He took a bunch of slightly talented kids and gave us a love and appreciation of drawing. He made us THINK every class and he showed us a practical side to education that until that time for us - didn't really exist. My class just celebrated our 35th reunion this past weekend in...

Dear Mary and family - I am sorry to hear about Nick's passing. Just yesterday a cousin on my side, Santo Ballato pased away - God bless his soul.
Love, Joan

I am very saddened to learn of Nick's death and I send my condolences to his wife and family. Nick once lived on School Street in Oyster Bay, just four doors down from my grandparents home. Many a time when I would pass by I would say hello to his mother.
Nick and I were classmates, K thru 12. We were both in the same art class right through 12th grade. We had a lot of fun kidding around.
He was a great guy to be around. God Bless You Nick. Jim Bumstead

I met him again just this past June at the Teddy Roosevelt cemetery in Oyster Bay. My son in law, a US Marine and 2 grandsons who were visiting from Pensacola, FL visited Sagamore Hills and then stopped at the cemetery. Shortly after our arrival Mr. LaBella arrived and graciously asked us if we had any questions and before we could answer he...
