I had the unique opportunity of having Nick in my art classes in Tenakill Middle School. He expressed himself through line, color, design and many emotional pieces. His heart was filled with love from family and students and teachers. I will never forget his contribution to my classes as well as his influence on all of us. It is with love and honor that I have been part of his life.

There are absolutely no words I can write that will adequately express the sorrow I feel and felt upon hearing of Nick´s passing. I had Nick as a student in high school and he was an absolute joy and an inspiration. I can say with the utmost certainty that he had an impact on all who has the honor of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who love him. Nick, you will be so missed. I might have been your teacher, but you were mine as well. Rest peacefully.
