NICHOLAS MOYA Obituary

NICHOLAS MOYA Our beloved Nicholas Moya was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 18, 1986. He passed away on June 11, 2021 at the young age of 34. Not only was Nick funny, smart, and witty but, also proved to be selfless time and time again. His way with words and comical gestures were bound to bring laughter to whomever shared his company. He found joy in watching UNLV basketball and football games with his family. He went to the Final Four on two occasions and was able to witness the UNLV men's basketball team win the Championship game. Nick was a Dallas Cowboys fan. On many occasions he would travel just to see them play. His passion for sports started from a young age. This led Nick to be a great athlete. He excelled at every sport he tried his hand at. During his youth he was involved in soccer, baseball, wrestling, football, track and Taekwondo. His other favorite past times included riding quads, snowboarding, fishing, and spending as much time as possible in his favorite place, Montana. Nick never hesitated to help those in need. Out of all the things he loved to do none of it could compare to the undeniable love he possessed for his biggest joy in life. That was being a daddy to his beautiful daughter, Lilah. He adored her and would stop at nothing to make sure he gave her the best life possible. Whatever she wanted he would make it happen. Their love for one another was unique and beautiful. Nick will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Christopher, Grandparents, Norma and Terry Moran and grandfathers: Robert Moya and Rich Arend. Nick is survived by his daughter: Lilah, his mother: Sue Moran (Kirby). Father: Ron Moya (Tracey). Brothers: Josh and Ty Bigham, Tommy and Trea Moya. Sisters: Danielle and Emily Moya. Grandmother: Lillie Arend, Aunts: Shauna Moran, Ruth Dias and Rachel Gilley. Uncles: Ken Moran (Kate), Brian Moran (Cynthia), Bob Moya, Roland Moya, Ruben Moya (Kerry). Several cousins and additional family members. We love you Nick. Services will be at 4 p.m. Fri., July 2, with reception to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129.
