TO RICHARD AND STAN
SINCERE SYMPATHY TO YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY FROM THE ALTER FAMILY

The entire Vatz family mourns the loss of one extraordinary man and friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Marilyn and the rest of his family. He will be sorely missed.

Nick was an exceptional person. He was a rare professional with good heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I will always remember waking up one night after a Christmas party and noticing a bright light on the front porch. There sat a giant lighted plastic snowman, put there by Nick as a joke. Our families spent many good times together, and Nick was always had one of the biggest smiles. My deepest sympathies to you all, it is never easy to lose someone so early and unexpectedly. But, we will always have our happy memories together!

Nick was such a wonderful giving spirit all during the time he worked with the National Children's Advocacy Cetner. He was a brilliant contributer to much work that went on there, and a kind soul who had the privilege to know.
Sincerely,
Connie Carnes

I was a TBE employee from 1988-1992. As a young employee Nick always spoke to me and made me feel like part of the team. I would see him at Hockey games and he would go out of his way to say hello.
