I will always remember waking up one night after a Christmas party and noticing a bright light on the front porch. There sat a giant lighted plastic snowman, put there by Nick as a joke. Our families spent many good times together, and Nick was always had one of the biggest smiles. My deepest sympathies to you all, it is never easy to lose someone so early and unexpectedly. But, we will always have our happy memories together!

Nick was such a wonderful giving spirit all during the time he worked with the National Children's Advocacy Cetner. He was a brilliant contributer to much work that went on there, and a kind soul who had the privilege to know.
Sincerely,
Connie Carnes

I was a TBE employee from 1988-1992. As a young employee Nick always spoke to me and made me feel like part of the team. I would see him at Hockey games and he would go out of his way to say hello.

From Gail, Gisela and Adrienne, your Huntsville family of so long ago:
May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone. ~ Irish Blessing
With our deepest sympathy and sorrow.
