On my way to church yesterday, I heard a familiar voice on the radio station KSBJ. :) I listened to the story and the tears started flowing. It hit me right away that this was my friend telling the story of our sweet Nick! WOW, I loved it! Wanted to let y'all know his story is being heard everywhere! I had the priveledge of coming across this remarkable young man at my job at Texas Children's Hospital. I was immediately inspired by the kind and peaceful nature of his mother as she sat by his side day at night and provided unconditional love and support. I remember coming abound the Facebook page "Team walker Pete-Nick Peters". I followed his battle with hope. When I didn't see any updates I then looked up the page. As a looked I saw the last update that he had passed. I cried for what might have been an hour and a half.
