Not sure what to say?

My mentor and friend. Nick was a great influence on my life in Chester, Avalon and at PMC. He left a huge void in many lives upon his passing. Cheers to a life well lived.

My deepest condolences to the entire Trainer family at this most difficult time.
Try to take comfort in the many lives Nick touched during his life. He had a huge positive impact on others; was a leader in school; on the athletic field, in business, In his community and was especially devoted to his children.
May u Rest In Peace Nicky ... after a life well lived !

Nick supported his high school alumni at every opportunity. He was instrumental in establishing the St. James Alumni Reunion Mass that is still held every Spring long before the school closed in 1993. Always a gentleman, he set the standard for loyalty and brotherhood among fellow Bulldogs.

Nick was an outstanding Bulldog and wonderful gentleman who despite his fame and fortune never treated his alumni brothers as anything but friends and peers. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. Sam Lewis STJ Class of 62.

I knew Nick from officiating in the Big East and the ACC. If ever there was a class act it was Nick. A gentleman, who respected everyone he dealt with. Nick had an innate knowledge of football and football officiating. I worked my first Big East Bowl game as Nick's assistant. I just recalled now we had Bowden on one sideline Paterno on the other and Nick in the booth.

But what I'll also remember is his wit-his humor-that brought us all closer together. Rest in Peace Nick, we'll take...

My deepest condolences to Nick's family. Nick was a tremendous representative/supporter of Widener University! You will be missed. Rest in peace.
