I am so sorry to learn of Nick´s passing. I lived around the block from Nick from 1959 to 1963. We were the best of friends, playing baseball in the street and on our sandlot field, and just hanging out in the neighborhood. My family moved after our freshman year at Cupertino High, and I last saw him the summer after our college graduation. Nick, Tony and I were the three musketeers in high school. We played baseball together, we all drove a Corvair Monza, we all went to the same Junior College then State College. We also went to a rock and roll place called the Warehouse in downtown San Jose before we were even 21. We all piled into Nick's Dads care and went to Lake Tahoe together. When my sister married Nick, she gave me the brother I never had. We shared so many wonderful memories over the years. As young marrieds, there were parties, camping and meeting at Tahoe. Later as we had our own families, we never missed a holiday or special occasion to join together in celebration.
